Violet Mary: Indie Hard Rock, Progressive and Jam

So here's the idea: lets take a group of seasoned veteran songwriters and musicians from the Western New York community and record our favorite songs, each song taking no more than 2 sessions. But, there's a catch: we will be recording using a Tascam 424mkIII cassette portastudio!   This will intentionally limit our studio trickery to only what is accessible in an analog domain.  But, hell, the Beatles recorded Srgt Pepper on a 4 track, why can't we?!  Along the way, we'll document the techniques used to capture each sound, interviews with the musicians about the songs, and behind the scenes look at minimalist recording.  Each episode will be both video and audio available through Youtube and Soundcloud.
